Following claims from Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho yesterday that he turned down the England job, current incumbent Fabio Capello has reacted angrily. The Italian has also made the news for saying that 100 words of English is all he needs, while using some of those to warn Liverpool striker Andy Carroll over his drinking habits.
As far as club football is concerned, Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has said he’s willing to listen to Manchester United’s offer should it come in the summer and Tottenham have made striker Miroslav Klose their number one target, with the German available on a free at the end of the season. Finally Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has warned Cesc Fabregas that he’ll face a backlash if he leaves Arsenal for Barcelona in the summer.
