Kalvin Phillips has been a Leeds United player since 2010 when he joined the club’s academy from Wortley Juniors.
The midfielder has developed his skills at the Yorkshire outfit and looks as though he could become an important figure in Marcelo Bielsa’s team this season.
Against Rotherham United on Saturday afternoon at Elland Road, the 22-year-old played a pivotal role in the club’s 2-0 victory.

Luke Ayling and Kemar Roofe got on the scoresheet for the hosts, but it was Phillips’s performance in the centre of the park that caught most of the fans’ eyes.
Despite still being a young player, the midfielder – valued at £4.5m by Transfermarkt – looked confident and comfortable on the ball.
He also provided the assist for Roofe’s goal and helped the Whites earn their third win of the season in the Championship.
After the final whistle, some fans on Twitter praised the display of Phillips, and a few likened the midfielder to some of the sport’s greats.
