Fernando Llorente scored 15 times in 35 appearances for Swansea City last season, but the experienced forward is yet to register for his new club Tottenham Hotspur.
The 32-year-old, who was strongly linked with Chelsea before Spurs swooped to sign him, is now 12 games without a goal in all competitions this season.
The statistics do not make great reading, but Llorente has only played 65 minutes of Premier League football this term, with all six of his appearances coming off the bench.
He was again used during the latter stages of Sunday’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace, but struggled to make his mark during the final 13 minutes.
It appears that the Spaniard, who is valued at £7.2m by transfermarkt.co.uk, still has the full support of the Tottenham fans, however, who responded positively to a Twitter post from the striker on Monday.
Llorente will surely get his name on the scoresheet sooner rather than later, although another 12 games without a goal and the Spurs fans might not be so kind.
