Football FanCast brings you the latest Manchester United transfer round-up as they look to bolster their ranks in the summer window.
The Red Devils ended last term with an FA Cup triumph following a dismal Premier League campaign that saw them finish in eighth. Safe to say, recruits and sales were needed in equal measure over the coming months, not least with Sir Jim Ratcliffe overseeing a transfer window for the first time.
United have indeed acted in recent months, spending plenty of money while removing some of the deadwood that had been lingering around Old Trafford for some time.
Meanwhile, there has also been activity behind the scenes, with the Old Trafford giants recently confirming Erik ten Hag is staying on as manager, while welcoming Dan Ashworth as sporting director.
So who else will pass through the revolving door at Old Trafford? Here are the latest players currently linked with United.
Transfer window 2024/25: When does the summer window open and close?
The Premier League has announced how long teams have to improve their squads this summer.

Evan Ferguson: Recent reports have stated that United have identified Brighton striker Evan Ferguson as a potential late-window addition to their squad. It is thought that they are testing Brighton's resolve with a £50m bid, while Chelsea are also in the hunt for another striker and have the Irishman on their shortlist.
Ferdi Kadioglu: Having all but secured a deal for Bayern Munich's Noussair Mazraoui, United could look to add another full-back to the team in the form of Fenerbahce defender Ferdi Kadioglu.
The left-back shone at Euro 2024 this summer and has long been linked with an exit, though whether new boss Jose Mourinho will sanction a move in the coming weeks remains to be seen.
The latest reports suggest that the Red Devils have made contact with his representatives as they seek to secure a deal.
Frenkie de Jong: Having been linked with Frenkie de Jong for a number of seasons, it appears United have not given up on bringing the Dutchman to Old Trafford.
Reports in Spain have claimed that not only have United put forward a proposal worth €50m (£43m) to Barcelona, his club have indicated that a bid worth €85m (£73m) could be enough to reach a breakthrough.
Transfers out
Victor Lindelof: INEOS has reportedly held a meeting to discuss who could leave in the near future – and Swedish defender Victor Lindelof could be one of those whose path out of Old Trafford could be mapped out.
It appears that the club are reluctant to lose the centre-back on a free before his contract expires next summer. Having brought in Leny Yoro and with the club nearing a deal for Matthijs de Ligt, it certainly seems as though the defender's days in Manchester are numbered.
Facundo Pellistri: Bologna have made Facundo Pellistri a late-window target as they seek to bolster their depleted squad ahead of their Serie A and Champions League campaigns.
The Italian side have already lost Joshua Zirkzee and Riccardo Calafiori (along with manager Thiago Motta) this summer, and as per reports in Italy, are hoping to secure a loan-to-buy deal with United for the Uruguayan.
Hannibal Mejbri: Rumours are circulating that Hannibal Mejbri has handed in a transfer request as he looks for a way out of Manchester United this summer.
It is thought that a move to Scotland could be on the agenda for the Tunisian, with Premiership giants Rangers and Celtic both reportedly interested in the midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Sevilla in La Liga.
Latest Man Utd transfers 2024/25
Manchester United made a slow start to the summer window in terms of incomings, but following their backroom reshuffle, the big-money arrivals of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro have given their window some much-needed impetus.
Their departures thus far have not been high-profile, perhaps with the exception of Raphael Varane, who had announced his exit before the end of last season, while Mason Greenwood departed for Marseille for a big fee. So with most of their existing squad in place as it stands, it will be intriguing to see how Ten Hag will mould his team following a disappointing campaign last time out.
High on the agenda will surely be filling the void left by Varane – and it looks like defensive reinforcements are on their way – but with underperformance rife at times last term, there could yet be a busy few weeks in store for United.
