Pep Guardiola’s expensively assembled City side were always heavy favourites to overcome David Wagner’s Terriers, and they proceeded to prove their authority in emphatic style.

Outstanding performances from the likes of David Silva, Gabriel Jesus, Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva all deserve their mention, but it was the antics of the ever-prolific Aguero that’ll grab the headlines in the wake of this latest City success.
As well as the match ball, the Argentine forward also took home the official man of the match award. These accolades are no less than his wonderful performance at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday deserved.
