Manchester City have been flying high over the rest of their competitors this season, but they are in the middle of a lull.
The dip in form could not have come at a worse time for Pep Guardiola and his team as they try to secure the Premier League title and make it into the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Last week, City were stunned by Liverpool in the first leg of their quarter-final tie at Anfield.
The Cityzens were beaten 3-0, with all of the goals being scored within the first 31 minutes of the contest.
The North-West outfit tried to restore some faith at the weekend when they took on neighbours Manchester United with the aim of wrapping up the title race.
However, they let go of a 2-0 lead and ended up losing 3-2, with Paul Pogba leading the comeback for the Red Devils.
City will have to mentally pick themselves up for tonight’s Champions League quarter-final second leg at the Etihad Stadium.
One thing is clear, though, the majority of supporters want Guardiola’s side to go full throttle, despite the risk of leaving themselves open at the back.
