If Chelsea do decide to sell Michy Batshuayi in this summer’s transfer window then there will be an almighty scramble for his services.
The 24-year-old, who scored in Belgium’s 5-2 win over Tunisia at the 2018 World Cup on Saturday afternoon, spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund having struggled for starts in the first half of the campaign.
The forward managed seven Bundesliga goals in just 10 appearances for Dortmund, but as it stands, he will be back at Chelsea for pre-season training next month.
Alvaro Morata’s presence could again make it difficult for Batshuayi to secure regular football next term, although it is still unclear who will manage Chelsea next season.

It is certainly going to be interesting to see what happens with the Belgian in this summer’s transfer window, but a selection of Newcastle United fans are desperate for the striker to make the move to St James’ Park.
Dwight Gayle has been strongly linked with a move away from the Magpies, and Batshuayi would seemingly be welcomed by the club’s supporters.
