Brendan Rodgers has managed to rejuvenate Leicester since he came in only a matter of months ago, turning around their fortunes in some style.
He’s put the swagger back into the Foxes’ football with Jamie Vardy playing like a man possessed under the new manager.
However, Rodgers still needs to sort out what has become a rather troubling wide area.
Harvey Barnes only found the net once after returning from a loan spell with West Brom but he still remains an incredibly talented young player.
Though on the right flank, there are questions marks over Demarai Gray and Rachid Ghezzal.
Both have struggled for end product and therefore the potential arrival of Andros Townsend, who is the subject of interest per The Mirror, would be shrewd.
The winger scored nine times in all competitions over the course of the 2018/19 term so would go a long way to solving a lack of goals in those areas of the pitch.
Despite that, he has to get better in possession of the ball.
Last season he was dispossessed 75 times in 38 matches. Comparing that to Gray, he lost the ball 38 times in four fewer games.
Townsend’s dribbling ability is arguably greater but if he is to come in and replace the former Birmingham man, this is an aspect of his game he’ll have to get better at, particularly if he joins a bigger club.
Coincidentally, the 27-year-old was dispossessed seven times in 1-0 win over the Foxes back in December. He lost the ball six times in one game too.
Being robbed of the ball appeared to be a recurring theme in the former England international’s game last campaign, losing possession three times in as many as five matches.

In clashes versus the top sides he was a more consistent performer. He didn’t lose the ball once in two outings against Liverpool whilst the same can be said for away clashes against Tottenham and Manchester City.
That encounter against City saw him net a long-range screamer, marking one of his finest performances in an Eagles shirt to date.
If Townsend joins Leicester and irons out this one flaw in his game, he can become a major player for Rodgers.
